Our Venue: The Manor House & The Coach House
We can’t wait to celebrate our special day with you at the award-winning Manor House Lindley in Huddersfield. Recently named the Best National Hotel Wedding Venue, this Grade II-listed Georgian mansion is a masterclass in “Gatsby-style” glamour, blending historic 19th-century architecture with bold, contemporary design.
The Coach House
Our ceremony and celebration will take place in The Coach House. This is a dedicated, exclusive-use wing of the Manor, set within its own private, gated garden.
The Coach House is famous for its “industrial-luxe” aesthetic.

The Design: Double-height ceilings, exposed stone walls, and intricate stained-glass windows.

The Bar: A breathtaking, floor-to-ceiling avant-garde bar that serves as the centerpiece for the evening’s festivities.

The Garden: A private outdoor space where we hope to enjoy some July sunshine (fingers crossed!) between the ceremony and the wedding breakfast.
A Piece of History
The Manor was originally built in 1874 for James Nield Sykes, a local mill owner. As you arrive, you’ll notice the iconic Lindley Clock Tower just outside the gates. This 83-foot landmark was commissioned by Sykes so his mill workers would always be on time—though we hope you’ll find the Manor’s atmosphere a little more relaxed than a Victorian mill!

If you are staying at the Manor, you’re in for a treat. Each of the 11 boutique bedrooms is individually designed—ranging from the “oriental charm” of the Hidden Lounge to the “Art Deco” luxury of the suites.

Parking: There is ample free private parking available on-site for all guests.

Arrival: The Coach House has its own private entrance, so look out for the signs as you enter the grounds.

Bar: The Coach House bar accepts both card and cash.
The Manor has a stunning Rooftop Terrace and an Apertif Bar (The Kitchen) which are lovely spots for guests who arrive early in Lindley to grab a coffee or a glass of champagne before the ceremony begins.
